KALI LINUX BASIC CONMANDS FOR BEGINNERS
 

 

Learning basic commands for linux , a free and open source operating system that you can modify and change

 

1.   Date Command

The command “date” is used to mention date and time






 

2.   Cal Command

The “cal” command is to display the current month formatted calendar don’t worry if you install a current version of kali llilnux

 





3.   Cd Command (Change Dir)

The “cd” command is used to change your current working directory

 






4.   Cp Command (Copy)

The “copy” command is used to copy a file , directories or a link on your pc





5.   Whoami Command

The command “whoami” or “who” is to print the user id whether the user is root or normal user regarding user who is presently logged in.

 




6.   Ls Command

The command “ls” is used to list the files or directories. This command is also help in finding a hidden file in your system , you can also combain commands and attribute

Like “ls -a”
